Make me wonder what the ‘story’ is… old age, pure and simple… earthquake… or something else… so many questions raised!
Thank you for your comments. It’s an old “button house” in the earthquake-prone Caucus Mountains of Turkey. Button houses go back 100 years, were built without mortar. The support logs that run front to back give the appearance of buttons. Newer construction includes mortar .
