Very nice. I love the way the black sets of the egg, the texture of the egg and the shadows on the egg. I find whatever the egg is sitting on a bit distracting and think covering it with a black cloth would make the egg appears as if it was floating.

This appears to be a study in balance… dark and light, highlight and shadow, and perfectly balanced subject.
I feel this image would connect/blend well in any environment where balance, in all its forms, is promoted. Quiet, beautiful, strong.
