I didn’t fall through Lake Winnipesaukee on this day, but I fell through the previous week. I do a lot of skating. I’ll try to pay better attention and not take a swim again (I had ice picks and we all carry ropes).
Your photo is emotionally charged for me because I lost a best friend many years ago when he was ice skating on a lake. He skated into almost open water due to poor eye sight and apparently went under more solid ice unable to find his way out. Be careful.
