I shot some images of the Zakim Bridge in Boston from the 6th story of a nearby hotel room and also from ground level. To create something different from most images of the bridge I see, I worked an image by cropping it and mirroring it. It’s a calming view of a scene that during rush hour is filled with chaos.
Mysterious and beautifully composed.
A fine demonstration of how to make an interesting photo
of something a commuter would drive through every day and not really “see”.
Have you thought of submitting it to a Boston newspaper, magazine or art show?
Something different for you, Jay. Explain, please.
I’ve seen this before. It’s very striking because you only used the top of that bridge to create the faux reflection. Great job and great creativity.
Immediately evoked Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon to me. Pretty cool.
Very pleasing abstract image. It makes me think of the cover of a science fiction novel.
Love it!
Simplicity + complexity. It’s a fascinating photo. I’m drawn in, and I want to make sense of the design.

Very nice and creative.
I love it, very different. Has a abstract feeling to it, even though you know what it is.
This is so cool, like a dreamscape!
