Your walking around with your camera technique really paid off on this one. Not only did you capture the insect in a perfect position in relation to the flower but also the colors match as well. Great capture, Jeff. A decisive moment for sure.
To any of you folks who would like to crop or do anything else to the picture, feel free to play with it. My original is safe, and I don’t have any problems with people doing what they want with my pictures….
I think a little cropping would help this image, but not too much. The slightly out of focus bud on the left adds to the image as does the foliage on the right.
great catch. Like it as is and I would really like to see it up close.
Love this little arachnid. He knew his coloring would look great against the flower. Love a spider who knows style!
Great capture. I wonder how it would look cropped to only the flower…

This little white spider looks like a queen on her throne. Really nice capture!
Great colorful, sharp shot. Would also like to see this cropped to see more of the spider framed by the flower pedals.

I love how the spider is the same color has the flower petals.
I’m not a big fan of spiders but I think this is a great capture. Nice that the spider blends in with the flower.
I agree with everyone above– my preference is more cropping, too. It is really an eye catching shot.
