This is a really nice shot, but I have a nagging feeling we saw this before. I seem to recall conversations about whether it would be beneficial to crop the right side. But I don’t see it in any of the other virtual meetings this year, so it must simply be that it’s such a classic shot that it looks familiar.
The lighting, tonality, composition, and timing are all top notch. I like this crop, but I’d also like to see one that’s tighter on the bird. I think both would work well.
Beautiful shot, but I’m not sure the black and white suites it well.
I immediately thought that I like the b&w (beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
this is a beautiful shot, b/w is great… but what if you brought down the back ground highlights and let the bird shine.
I love the composition and that it is in b&w but to me the bird, which is the focal point, gets a little lost in everything else that is going on in the image.
