Make way for Ducklings!! Mama Duck is for sure the focus, but whatever is on her beak concerns me. (obviously not photographers fault.) I would like to see a little wider crop a little more on the top and to the left. Just a bit.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that more space, top, left and bottom would work well. However the image is straight out of the camera, no cropping involved. Next time I will need to be quicker with the shutter release! I was lying on the grass in the park when these female mallards came hustling over in hopes of some bread – which I had. When you mentioned something on her back, I reviewed the original photo to see what was there. What you are seeing are water droplets, on her, and in the air around her as she shook off.

I agree with Kathy… too tightly cropped; consider more space on top, bottom and left .
