Composition is key. Those eyes draw me in, unkempt clothing and smudged cheeks define the subject. The slightly overexposed background won’t let me leave until I’ve fully appreciated the flower embellished hat.
Emotion comes out. Looks like the subject could be asking “What kind of trouble can I get into in here?” or “Is my mommy here?” gives different stories depending on the question.
