  1. This reminds me of Ruggle’s Mine. Great place for the kids to dig and explore, especially the elephant head.

  2. Nice silhouettes against the light. I like that I can see the entire opening, showing the scale of the place.
I with I could see a full size version of this. I’d like to see a little more detail in the background, and I’d like to see it a little less washed out in the background. I suspect a larger version of the picture might do those things.
    And a silly note:
In the background, just under the greenery at the top of the hill, I see an elephant’s head, looking left.

  3. I like the overexposed feeling of the background. It looks like the convergence of 2 different worlds.

  4. When I saw this scene developing it reminded me of the Native American legend of the Hopi people emerging from the underground world of the Ant people into the second creation. This was taken in Ruggles mine and the mica imbedded in the shaft reflected the light giving a sparkle appearance that I felt was a distracting effect. Maybe not?

  5. I like the light. It gives a feel of the transition between places and allows the figures to be silhouettes. It would be less interesting to me if I could see the details of the human figures. I also like that you placed the cave exit off center.
