This is a very interesting tree stump. I love the fracture lines.
The composition is just right, I think, with the gentle curve from top left to bottom right, and then the semi-circle at the upper right pulls the eye back around to the curve on the left again.
I find the background (the ground) a bit distracting. I don’t know what you’d do about, though. Dodge? Burn? Reduce the clarity?
Still, I like it.
I love the lines and how the smooth top of the trunk contrasts with the pieces that have broken away. I would also be interested in seeing it converted to b&w,
