Thanks to all for your feedback. The lens used is a 200mm from the 1960’s. This was one of the times that I’ve been able to use an ISO 200 setting, not so much as to increase the shutter speed, or to allow more light, but to capture a softer look I think of as ‘painted’. The image was captured in a hazy mid-day sun, closing down the aperture and raising the shutter speed to squash out some of the direct light.
Such a cheerful photo. I love the colors.
The colors are so vivid and the contrast between the reds and yellows so bold. The little purple flowers balance it just right.
This one stands out for me because the colors are so, so pleasing.
I agree with all above, but I think it is the focus that really leads the eye to the subject. Love it.
